Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Prime Sun Valley Spray Foam Insulation for work at your home or business. By browsing the site, calling us, sending our contact form or approving an estimate, you agree to them.
If a written estimate or job agreement we both sign says something different from this page, the signed document controls for that job. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Sun Valley, NV, and we work in Sun Valley and the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in and batt insulation, insulation removal, air sealing and vapor barriers in attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements. The home page lists every service we offer, and our About page tells you more about us.
The service descriptions on this site are general information. They aren't a promise that a certain product or method is right for your house. We only know what your job needs after we've seen the attic, crawl space or walls in person.
Estimates and pricing
Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure during our visit, and it covers the scope, materials and price listed on it. It stays valid for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update it, because material costs change.
Sometimes we find something once the work is underway, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, hidden damage or gaps we couldn't reach before. When that happens, we stop and explain what we found. We won't do extra work or charge you for it until you've approved the change.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We set a start date with you once the estimate is approved. Weather, material delivery and conditions inside the house can move that date, and if they do, we'll let you know as soon as we can. You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas, along with power and a clear path to the attic hatch or crawl space entrance.
Some jobs, spray foam especially, mean you, your family and your pets have to stay out of the house or certain rooms for a while. We'll tell you the re-entry time, meaning when it's safe to come back in, before we start. Please follow it. We aren't responsible for problems caused when someone goes back in early.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (775) 447-1132 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or held a crew for your job, the cancellation terms in your estimate or agreement apply.
Payment
Your estimate or agreement lists the payment amounts, the due dates and the payment methods we accept. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished and we've walked you through it.
If a payment is late, we may pause the remaining work, and you'll be responsible for reasonable collection costs where Nevada law allows them. If a charge looks wrong to you, please tell us right away so we can fix it.
Warranties and what they don't cover
Any warranty on our workmanship is written in your estimate or agreement. Product warranties come from the manufacturer, under the manufacturer's terms, and we'll pass along whatever paperwork they provide.
Apart from those written warranties, we provide the website and our services as they are, without any other warranty, stated or implied, to the extent the law allows. We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific temperature in any room, because that also depends on your heating and cooling system, your windows, the weather and how the house is used.
Warranties don't cover damage from leaks, pests, storms, other contractors' work or changes made after we leave, such as disturbing or removing insulation in the attic.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a job won't be more than the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room, lost income or costs from conditions in the house that were there before we arrived.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that Nevada law doesn't allow a business to limit.
Settling a disagreement
If something about our work isn't right, call us first at (775) 447-1132 or reach us through our Contact page. Most problems are solved by coming back out and looking at the job together, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't settle it that way, both of us agree to try good-faith negotiation before taking legal action. Any claim that remains will be heard in the state courts for the county in Nevada where the work was done, unless both of us agree in writing to use mediation or another method.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would point to another state's laws.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them here, and they don't change an estimate or agreement you've already signed.
